Pure Pilates studio founder and instructor, 2006 -2020

Cindy’s extensive Pilates education and teaching experience began in 1999. After many years of continuous studies and working in health club management and instruction she chose to extend her knowledge base in physical therapy and became a Physical Therapist Assistant. After working 5 years in physical therapy she decided she wanted to pursue her pilates training. Cindy received her full Level II STOTT Pilates training in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Barrels and Injuries and Special Populations in 1999. She also has an extensive background in specialty training for those with orthopedic conditions, back conditions, osteoporosis, breast cancer rehabilitation, arthritis and many other areas. Cindy completed the Pilates for Neurological Conditions course through Mariska Breland and Meghann Koppelle in order to offer services to those with Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological conditions. Cindy’s belief in the pilates method, devotion to her education, and commitment to teaching with integrity, is the foundations of her success.

Annabeth Baker joined Pure Pilates as an instructor in 2019 and has received her training through Pure Body Teacher Training in Houston. She has a Bachelor’s degree in public health that included courses on the human anatomy and physiology, study of human disease, common nutrition, and functional kinesiology. She has always been passionate about health and fitness. Her initial introduction to pilates was by her father who has been a client at Pure Pilates for the last six years. Cindy Mashe has been her mentor since her pilates journey started, and has been a great influencer of Annabeth’s principles and basis of pilates training. Annabeth’s desire, as an instructor, is to encourage a healthy mind and a healthy body through movement. She believes that what we do with our time defines who we are, so our time is valuable and a great way to spend it is in pilates!
