“A sound mind housed in a sound body is desirable just as a fine copper-roofed house built on a solid rock foundation”
Pilates is a mode of exercise that is designed for any and every BODY. That means those fit and those not-so-fit!
Pure Pilates is a locally owned studio that is fully equipped with The Reformer, Stability Chair, Springwalls, Mat, The Cadillac, and Barrels. In this studio we focus on spinal and core strength to encourage better movement throughout the day and a healthier body for life. The stronger the core, the more efficient your other workouts and activities of daily living will be! Not only does pilates work to strengthen the muscles of the body, but it helps to encourage flexibility as well.
Whether you are a couch potato or a triathlete looking to enhance your sport and performance, or a mom, dad, or grandparent that just wants to keep playing with the kids for years to come, pilates can work for you! We have the knowledge and experience to help improve movement with a range of physical ailments, i.e., arthritis, osteopenia, osteoporosis, knee and shoulder issues, degenerative disc disease, disc herniation issues, sciatica, and more.
Our focus is to re-educate muscles that may not be working properly and re-aligning the spine to move in a way that puts the least amount of stress on the spine and joints. A healthier, stronger core means a healthier, stronger quality of life!
Whether you are a couch potato or a triathlete looking to enhance your sport and performance, or a mom, dad, or grandparent that just wants to keep playing with the kids for years to come, pilates can work for you!
